Discover the Arena District during the Stanley Cup Playoffs

Round 1 of the Stanley Cup Playoffs comes to Columbus, Ohio with games played at Nationwide Arena on Sunday, April 14 and Tuesday, April 16. The Columbus Blue Jackets play the Tampa Bay Lightning in a best-of-seven game series. Here’s the schedule for Games 3 and 4 in Columbus – be sure to fuel up at nearby Arena District restaurants for food & drink while you cheer on your team!

On Tuesday, April 16, Nationwide presents a pre-game plaza party on the Front Street Battelle Plaza in front of Nationwide Arena. Hockey fans are invited to enjoy music, attractions, beverage stations, and watch live pre-game tv and radio broadcasts.  The party is free and open to the public! Game tickets are not required.


Since its opening in 2000, Nationwide Arena has been the home of the NHL’s Columbus Blue Jackets as well as a wide variety of world-class entertainment events. Hockey fans gather in the Arena District before and after the puck drops...over a dozen bars and restaurants are within walking distance of the arena. R Bar is a must for all hockey fans!
