In case you missed the news, radio and general talk of the town, Paul McCartney played in Columbus last night. It was one of five of the stops he will be making in the United States on his Out There! tour. It made for a huge Columbus event.
Not only was this a monumental moment for fans of his music, it actually paves a way for larger music artists to make there way to the Columbus concert scene. There is now a well-worn path for legendary rockers and musical acts to play at Nationwide Arena in the Arena District.
Sir Paul played to a sold out show for nearly three hours. His set list covered 39 songs ranging from classic Beatles hits, to his days playing with Wings, and he even played the new song he wrote with Kanye West.
