Skip to main content Pelotonia rides on to end cancer

I’m sure you’ve seen the green arrow magnets on a few car bumpers.
You’ve probably even started to see more bike riders out on the road while the 7,680 participants have been training.
All the miles on the bike are about to lead up to the one things they’ve all been waiting for – Pelotonia.
Pelotonia is a grassroots bike tour and fundraiser meant to end cancer. Since it was started in 2008 this organization has funded 106 million dollars for cancer research.
The ride is Friday, August 5-Sunday, August 7th. For different lengths of the race, each rider commits to raise a certain amount for Cancer Research.
If you are coming down to watch the riders take off or to drop off a rider of your own feel free to park in the Arena District and stick around for breakfast and coffee. Sunny Street Cafe has a wonderful breakfast/brunch menu and is right next to McFerson Commons. And you can always pre-pay for parking by clicking here!
Whether you are a volunteer, spectator, or supporter, we are proud to have Pelotonia in the Arena District and want to wish all the riders luck on their journey!
