Taylor Swift through the years
May 2, 2013
In anticipation of Taylor Swift’s sold out RED Tour hitting Nationwide Arena on May 8, we’re taking a look at the icon’s style through the years. Beginning her career as the girl next door and growing into the star she is today, we’re inclined to say she’s had more hits than misses.

Taylor showed some youthful choices with black satin gloves and pin curls. You can’t fault a 16-year-old for playing a bit of dress-up on the red carpet.
2007
A little too prom-esque, but a sign of glamorous things to come with subtle hair and makeup at the 2007 CMA awards.
2008
Taylor showing a more elegant side at the 2008 ACM Awards with a Grecian-style number and a face-framing up ‘do.
2009
The 43rd CMA Awards saw the sparkling Taylor we know and love with a floor-skimming gown and grown-up sequins.
2010
At the 2010 American Music Awards, Taylor abandoned her trademark curls and good-girl look for new straight bangs and a to-there studded frock.
2011
Taylor pares down a strapless mini with subtle makeup and soft curls for a glam, polished look.
2012
The pop star stays on trend with this floor-length peek-a-boo dress and soft waves at the 47th Annual ACM Awards.
2013
