proposal at the CBJ game

Beth Frederick was the fortunate winner of 2 awesome Columbus Blue Jackets tickets for the December 16 Winnipeg Jets game. She was a winner of the First CBJ Experience story contest. It turns out she won more than just the tickets!
“My boyfriend of 5-years proposed marriage to me right before the puck drop! It was a total surprise – I don’t even remember any of the first period of the game!
We’d only been talking very hypothetically about engagement for the past 6-months. My now fiancé Chris Powell was a ball of nerves. He decided last minute that this game would be where and when he would ask the big question, after he learned I’d won the tickets. We are huge Jackets fans and get to a number of games each season and now these games will have even more meaning to us. We cannot thank you enough for the awesome tickets and a memory we will have forever!”
