Is a light rail in the future for Columbus?

The commute from downtown to the airport might get a bit easier. Mayor Michael Coleman has his Jobs, Expansion and Transportation task force mulling over the idea of creating a train to link the airport to the downtown area. Friday the team met and discussed the idea before recommendations are submitted next year and a study will be released in the coming months that the team has conducted.
Also on the table is the idea of a hub at the airport that would house not only a train system but also buses and bikes that would connect Easton, Ohio State, downtown and other major areas.
