The Arena District will see the opening of the new Half Pint Bar & Restaurant today. Owned by the same local group that created The Half Pint in Marysville and The Pint Room in Dublin, Half Pint will be open for business at 3 p.m., at 415 N. Front St.
Half Pint takes up the 4,200 square foot space on the corner of Vine and Front Streets, and includes a large outdoor patio. Its location puts it within walking distance of several Columbus staples, including Nationwide Arena, the Convention Center and North Market.
The menu includes a handful of starters, like Wagyu sliders, bar bacon and crab cakes, as well as a selection of burgers, sandwiches and soups. The bar has 60 beers on tap and offers growlers, crowlers, and a supply of craft bottles.
“With our chef-driven menu, we will provide fast, fresh, handcrafted food along with an array of craft beers,” said Shelly Post, Director of Operations of The Pint Room Group, in a press release. “Focusing on quality of service and products, we cannot wait to be a part of the lineup when choosing a dining option in the Arena District. We couldn’t be more excited to start this journey the District.”
Kitchen and bar hours vary by day. The bar will be open Monday through Thursday, 11 a.m. to 12 a.m., Friday and Saturday, 11 a.m. to 1 a.m., and Sunday, 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. The kitchen will close at 10 p.m. on Monday through Thursday, 11 p.m. on Friday and Saturday, and 10 p.m. on Sunday.
