Entrepreneurial Restaurateur to Anchor Historic Buggyworks Building in the Arena District
Columbus-based Nationwide Realty Investors announced today that Cameron Mitchell Restaurants, LLC will move its corporate headquarters to the historic Buggyworks building in the Arena District. Nationwide Realty Investors President and COO Brian J. Ellis made the announcement.
“We are thrilled that renowned Columbus restaurateur Cameron Mitchell will be moving into the Buggyworks complex,” said Ellis. “The project has gained significant momentum since renovations began last fall. We are looking forward to welcoming Cameron Mitchell and his team to the Arena District later this year.”
Cameron Mitchell Restaurants will relocate from their current space at 515 Park Street to a 17,000-square-foot office on the third floor of the 390 W. Nationwide Blvd. building. Built as an addition to the original 1902 timber framed Buggyworks building in 1950, the 390 building is being renovated and converted to two levels of attached parking with 30,000 square feet of Class A office space above. The top floor features floor-to-ceiling windows, an open floor plan and outstanding views of Huntington Park, the Arena District and Downtown Columbus.
“We wanted to find a unique space to reflect the personality of our business,” said Cameron Mitchell Restaurants’ President, David Miller, and the historic Buggyworks building was a perfect fit. This expansion will support our growing team and our vision for scaling and expanding our portfolio of restaurants.”
“It has been a pleasure working with the Cameron Mitchell Restaurants team to find the right space for their growing business,” said Chris Bradley, Nationwide Realty Investors Real Estate Director. “Buggyworks provides them unique and creative office space that compliments their diverse portfolio.”
The company plans to move into its new space in late 2016.
In the agreement, Nationwide Realty Investors was represented by Continental Realty, and Cameron Mitchell Restaurants, LLC was represented by NAI Ohio Equities, LLC.
