$1 Million Plus Raised at the Columbus Marathon

They all came up winners at the marathon: the runners (including half-marathoners), countless spectators, and most of all Nationwide Children’s Hospital.
The 35th Columbus Marathon, officially the Nationwide Children’s Hospital Columbus Marathon, raised more than a million dollars for the hospital for the third time in the three years the race has been so named.
Columbus is one of the country’s flattest courses. With the starter’s pistol going off before the day’s 7:46 a.m. sunrise, it also sets off much earlier on the clock than many others.
“It’s exciting to see all these people, this early,” Debbie Mullin told 10TV News while on hand to watch her daughter run her tenth half-marathon.
