Columbus Destroyers
Founded in Buffalo, New York in 1999, The Columbus Destroyers Arena Football League team moved to Columbus, Ohio in 2004. They opened their inaugural home game in February 2004 before a sellout crowd of 17,171 fans.
The team plays their eight home games in Nationwide Arena, which they share with the National Hockey League's Columbus Blue Jackets. Into their fourth season, the Destroyers are quickly growing in popularity due to the excitement of their games. The team is led by Head Coach Doug Kay, with 12 seasons of experience in the Arena Football League.
