“HOCKEY: IT’S IN YOUR BLOOD” Blood Drive

For the sixth consecutive year, the Columbus Blue Jackets and OhioHealth are teaming up with the American Red Cross for the “Hockey: It’s in Your Blood” blood drive at Nationwide Arena (inside the Front St. doors) on Wednesday, Sept. 29 from 11:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.

Donors at the Nationwide Arena location will receive a pair of tickets to a Blue Jackets preseason game. In addition, everyone who gives blood at any Central Ohio location throughout the month of September can register to win one of the following prizes: 

- A Columbus Blue Jackets/OhioHealth Prize Pack that includes a pair of Blue Jackets preseason game tickets, autographed team memorabilia and a one-hour massage compliments of OhioHealth.

- One Zamboni ride and a pair of game tickets

- One LCD television

fitCamp is a four week-16 session, shared exercise program focused on quick results and lasting benefits.  The unique fitness program is designed to be fun, yet challenging, for all fitness levels.  fitCamp begins on August 2, and costs members $125 per person or $150 for  non-members.  Space is limited.

Arena District Flag Football League is accepting applications for teams.

The Arena District Flag Football League kicks off the 2010 season on August 23.  Games will be played at McFerson Commons on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday’s & Thursday’s and game times will be 6:00pm, 6:50pm and 7:40pm.
